Gruda Veterinary Hospital offers a complete in-house veterinary laboratory on site at our Santa Fe facility. Veterinary laboratory services include:

Complete blood counts
Chemistry for vital organs
Urinalysis
Heartworm
Electrolytes
Cytology
Endocrinology

On-site evaluation and diagnosis of a pet’s condition can be invaluable to his or her well being. Before a pet’s same-day surgery, bloodwork on vital body components is mandatory for a safe anesthesia. In veterinary emergencies, stat blood analysis can make the difference in saving a pet’s life. In non-emergency situations, an in-house veterinary laboratory means you won’t have to wait any longer than necessary for test results.

We also use an outside veterinary laboratory for certain specialized diagnostic testing and consultation.
