At Gruda Veterinary Hospital we have a state of the art, modern surgical suite. Gruda Veterinary Hospital is fully vested in providing the best in surgical management. The safest anesthetic protocols are standard using only isoflurane/sevoflurane gas anesthesia. The surgical capabilities found at GVH came about through intensive training, education, and experience.
Surgeries performed at GVH include but not limited are abdominal exploratory, bladder surgery, intestinal resection and anastomosis, amputations, mammary surgery, and many orthopedic surgeries.. Here is an abbreviated list of surgeries available at GVH:
- General soft tissue (lacerations/wound care/trauma)
- TPLO/TTA (advanced techniques for knee ACL rupture)
- LSS (also for ACL rupture)
- Patella luxation repair (dislocated knee cap)
- Simple and complex fracture repair
- Carpal/Tarsal Arthrodesis (joint fusion in wrist and ankle)
- Limb deformity/reconstruction (angular/crooked limbs)
- Basic and Advanced abdominal surgery
- Oncology surgery (tumor and growth)
- TPO/JPS (for Hip Dysplasia)
- Tendon/Ligament repair/reconstruction
- Limited intra-thoracic surgery (heart and lung)
- Limited back/spine surgery
