Emergency Care
Our veterinarians and staff are devoted to providing quality emergency and critical care for your pets when needed.
Our hospital is fully equipped for emergency care; including a comprehensive on-site laboratory, digital x-ray, oxygen kennel, endoscopy, vital function monitors, surgical intervention, pain management protocols, and the potential for ongoing critical care.
We schedule our veterinarians and staff so that we are always able to accommodate our patient emergencies during business hours.
If you call our office after normal business hours with a sick or injured pet, the voice mail will direct you to the pager number of our veterinarian on call. When you page, our doctor will be able to discuss your pet’s needs.
Your veterinarian will discuss with you the nature of the problem and then decide together the best course of action. This could involve waiting until normal business hours, seeing the pet, or going to the Veterinary Emergency Center, (505) 984-0625, for immediate treatment.
