Sue McKelvey, DVM
Dr. McKelvey completed her undergraduate studies at the University of New Mexico, where she was a psychology major with a minor in biology. She is a 1997 graduate of CSU College of Veterinary Medicine.
She feels that it is a privilege to practice veterinary medicine, and she is honored to be entrusted with the care of pets who are considered members of the family by their owners.
Dr. McKelvey has been excited to extend her veterinary education to include veterinary acupuncture and is now offering those services to Gruda Veterinary Hospital clients.Dr. McKelvey enjoys exploring the outdoors, going to music festivals, gardening, and spending time with her family. She is very lucky to have found Sam, The Best Dog in the World, and enjoys snuggling with her two cats.
